We’re happy to announce that we have completed the first milestone of this project. :tada:

As a quick reminder, the LZero platform is a tool that allows developers to create private, configurable, and realistic networks in order to improve performance and security of SSV.

The first milestone covers the following features as described in the proposal:

â—Ź Simulation of Ethereum and SSV nodes
â—Ź Registration of validators with operators
â—Ź Monitoring of consensus layer with ethereum2-monitor
â—Ź Monitoring of individual nodes (CPU, memory, logs)

There is a quick demo available here: https://youtu.be/y1i_hvWCk98

The screenshot below shows the dashboard of the platform. It allows for creation of node configurations and networks.

Each node in a network is configured through a node configuration. The platform currently supports Geth, Lighthouse and SSV. Users can configure the node’s resources and inject delays to simulate realistic networks. When a network is created, the user can create validators and split the keys between specific SSV operators.

Once a network is running, users have access to a monitoring dashboard. It shows an overview of each node’s CPU and memory usage and gives access to all logs. Furthermore, it provides an interface to the ethereum2-monitor to analyse consensus performance.

We are now working on our next milestone which will entail a production-ready product that includes chaos testing and advanced features.
