It is with great pleasure that we share our progress report, highlighting the significant milestones achieved in the development of our ETH staking pool. Since the inception of this project, our team has been dedicated to building a secure, efficient, and user-friendly platform for staking ETH. With each phase carefully planned and diligently executed, we’ve navigated through the deployment of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to the Testnet, iterative refinements, security audits, and the successful completion of two testnet phases.
Our commitment to transparency and excellence drives this update, providing insights into our journey, achievements, and the invaluable contributions made by the SSV community. This report aims to showcase our progress, unveil the challenges overcome, and express our gratitude for the collaborative efforts that have brought us closer to realizing a pioneering staking pool. Your ongoing support has been pivotal in shaping our project, and we’re excited to share the strides we’ve made thus far.
Phase 1: Deployment of MVP to SSV Testnet [ Private testnet ]
During our initial Testnet phase, we strategically invited a select group of experienced node operators to rigorously test our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) [ Chainlayer, P2P, Everstake, Cryptomanufaktur, Forbole]. This collaborative effort aimed to gather valuable insights, allowing us to fine-tune the staking pool’s functionalities and gauge its performance under real-world conditions. The feedback and observations from these esteemed operators were instrumental in identifying potential areas for improvement, refining user experiences, and ensuring the robustness of our infrastructure. Their participation not only validated the reliability of our MVP but also paved the way for crucial refinements and enhancements, steering us towards a more polished and reliable staking platform for all participants.
Phase 2: Completion of Audit
Security is a top priority. Our team has diligently engaged [Auditing Firm - Blaize Security] to conduct thorough security audits on the staking pool. The audit report is available here where we scored 9.7% out of 10%. Identified vulnerabilities have been promptly addressed, ensuring a robust and secure platform for our users.
The successful conclusion of Testnet 2 marked a pivotal moment in our journey towards creating a robust and accessible staking pool. Transitioning from a closed test environment to an open testnet, we extended an invitation to a wider community of users, developers, and stakeholders to explore and interact with our platform. This phase was characterized by increased participation, diverse testing scenarios, and invaluable user interactions. The feedback and data gathered from this open testnet have been invaluable in validating the scalability, performance, and usability of the staking pool in a more diverse and dynamic setting. Insights gathered during this phase have significantly contributed to further refinements, ensuring a user-centric and technically sound platform ready for the upcoming Mainnet launch. The community’s involvement in this open testnet has been pivotal in shaping our project, making it more resilient, user-friendly, and primed for a broader audience. Here
We’ve been actively engaging with the SSV community, incorporating invaluable feedback received from our users. Your input has been instrumental in shaping the staking pool’s development, and we deeply appreciate your contributions.
Moving forward—Mainnet launch [ We are live ]. This will mark the official release of the ETH staking pool, allowing users to actively participate in staking activities. We’re incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement from the SSV community, and we’re committed to delivering a secure and efficient platform.Your continuous support and feedback are invaluable to us as we work towards the successful completion of this project.
